Watch how quick and mobile Deontay is going to be. He only needs one punch whether he's at 250, 300 or 220 to get Stiverne out.

Before weigh in fans be like: "Heavyweight division sucks with all these out of shape losers coming in with no athleticism weighing 240-260 the division will be dead until someone comes along in shape in the 220-230 range."

After weigh in fans be like: "What is Wilder thinking coming in at 220 he needs to be 250!!!"

Deontay Wilder is the greatest fighter of all time. History will be made soon.

Weirdest phenomenon. People pine for the in shape, smaller heavyweights of the past saying size doesn't matter...then when modern guys show up weighing the exact same (or more) while still in shape, they're too small to compete in today's division.

    Makes no sense.

It depends on your body type as well as your height. I'm exactly the same height as Stiverne and in very good shape, but Stiverne is something like 60 Pounds heavier than me. 20-30 Pounds of that may be fat but he also just has a much broader build than I do. Wilder is naturally very slender. It could destroy his stamina if he put on 30 Pounds of muscle.

Wilder is not prime yet. I'm sure when he fills out that he will come in at around 230/240.

    :deal

Piling on unnatural weight wouldn't help him much imo. Silly OP.
