Will you support Floyd if he rematches Cotto?

It's not acceptable that the highest paid athlete in the sport consistently ducks his best available opposition who the people want him to fight. For that I will not be watching anymore Floyd fights. I would have accepted Khan but not another go around with Cotto.
Khan or Pac - anyone else I will no longer be tuning in for Mayweather and I have for all his fights in the past. Reluctantly for Maidaina 2.

I have never paid to watch a PBF, don't want to give a cent to that c u n t.

Talented fighter though, respect his skills.

Not just no, but hell no. I would not buy this fight. I can just pull the first fight up on YouTube and rewatch it. It will be exactly the same, except that Cotto may try to fight on the outside more with movement, but he'd still fail miserably. It's an easy win for Mayweather, and he knows it, which is the kind of fight he likes: one he knows he can win with ease. A true TBE wouldn't run from risk.

Look, Floyd needs to fight Pac end of story. If he beats Pac a fight with the winner of Cotto-Canelo (if it ever comes off) is still there for him which would make it an even bigger fight. It makes no sense for Floyd to fight Cotto now, it would do fewer buys than their first fight. It would also really **** off the people who pay him his guarantee (Showtime).

Floyd needs to step up and make good not only to the fans but to the people he's been doing business with for the last few years. It's time for him to do the biggest fight of the last 20 years or so.

I for one believe they are far enough along in negotiations that the Pac fight will get done.

But everyone knows he isnt the best middleweight so who cares.

Exaggerated case of money, not fights ruling over the game. Everyone knows money is king in boxing, but when the sporting aspect is completely missing thats not good either.

To be a real superfight, there needs to be the monetary and sporting aspect.

BS fight if its for WBC 160 belt. If Cotto drops belt, and Floyd defends his 154 or 147 titles against Cotto then I will call it a legit fight.

I can name a whole boat load of fights I'd like to see Mayweather have before facing Khan. So it really comes down to everyone's preferences. What is surprising is that you have not realized that the best fights available usually don't happen in pro boxing... To each their own.

It's disappointing that Mayweather/Pacquiao hasn't happened and probably won't be happening this May again. But hasn't the disappointment and expectation worn off on you guys by now? I have been over it for longer than 2 years now (since KTFO6) and I thought I was late to come around to accepting the fight had long passed its expiration date.

This is ANOTHER rematch, and one from THREE YEARS AGO that nobody is bothered about.

If Floyd fights Cotto then it's the easiest option that he can go with, IMO. And no doubt it'll be ate catch-weight... Besides, everyone knows that GGG is the man at MW, not Cotto.

Why not just fight Manny? Or Khan? Or Thurman or Brook or Bradley or Lara? So many better fights for him out there than a rematch against Cotto.

    ?

    This seems contradictory to me.

The higher the fight is in weight limit the obvious benefit it has to Cotto.

You think beating Amir Khan or Kieth Thurman at 147 at this point in time is more significant and a better win then beating Cotto at 160 right now would be?

I know people are emotional but this one seems dramatic.

Again, you're just a Floyd fanboy.

Khan and Thurman are legit threats at 147 to anyone there.

Cotto beat down a ruined Martinez. If Cotto defended that belt say 3 times against the best opposition there then I'd agree with you. But he will dump that belt even of he beat Floyd at 160, which would mean nothing as Floyd has never fought at that weight.

Besides, if he beat Thurman or Khan then he'd have beaten legit contenders in his weight-class instead of bums like RG and Maidana.

So Cotto has to beat Sergio and the 3 best opponents at Middleweight to become a worthy opponent for Floyd.

Yet Amir Khan is a worthy opponent at 147 right now for beating Devon Alexander, Julio Diaz, and Luis Collazo in his only 3 career Welterweight fights.

I smell a hypocrite... It's OK. As I said earlier, I know people are emotional right now.

Don't make assumptions on my realizations. I am just stating I will not pay for another Mayweather fight if it's not Pac or Khan. As is my right.

    No, and No.

To be honest, Im losing my spark for boxing for the first time ever, due to constant, constant **** like this... so hope it doesn't happen.

    Cotto vs GGG
    May vs Pac
    Canelo vs DL @160

Obviously wont happen, but that's my hope for the fighters involved.
