    It was a weird stoppage, the way it played out, but I dunno about "bad".

    The way Maldonado looked as he fell back after the first left hook - eyes open wide, head tilted back, legs splayed, wobbling - and then he got hit with another one. :scaredas:

    Byrd should've waved it off as Maldonado hit the canvas. Waiting to let him get up and have the bell ring and then be like "Hmm, nah" just makes it awkward.

    True but they also aren't getting $750,000 for fighting the Ruiz's of the world. Quigg gets ripped to bits for his competition, Rigondeaux can't seem to get anyone, Wake wanted Rigondeaux and get ****ed by Kyoei at the end of last year (out of the hands of the fighters), Avalos will be Frampton next time out.

    Don't think it was bad, Maldonado never recovered from the 2nd and 3rd KDs, he barely had anything on his punches these last couple rounds
