Some bloke I know just offered me odds of 3/1 on Bermane (ie, I bet £50 on Bermane and I get £150 if Bermane wins). I snapped his hand off.

However, either guy can land a bomb this evening. The difference is, if no-one lands a bomb early, Bermane should take this fight. He has two ways of winning.

    Thoughts?

One of the more exciting heavyweight fights in years. There's been a few bigger fights-Wlad against Haye, Povetkin, and Pulev, but this one seems to have more excitement around it than those(the Haye fight was on this level though)

It seems like a real toss up and with both guys power you know its going to end with an early knock out.

I'm rooting for Wilder, I think he has the potential to bring some real excitement to the division and boxing in general.

But I'd pick Stiverne to win. I just don't think Wilder has the chin to stand up to Stiverne where Stiverne's chin should hold up much better.

Nice exciting fight. Stiverne by early ko.

Not everyone's eating crow, Butch. I bet on Wilder to win the fight and got pretty decent money. This is the prediction I posted here just two pages back, where I broke down how the fight would go:

Don't expect iceman71 and the other trash-talkers to come here and take back their trash. Deontay Wilder has eaten their hearts and souls. They're in deep depression.:|:dead

Fair dues to Wilder. In his first fight against a legitimate opponent he came out on top. Still not sold on him overall but you've got to give him credit for the win I suppose.

Nobody is taking anything back, I certainly am not. See a bum and call it. 30 tomato can record and championship shot really. Why stiverne decided not to fight tonight is more interesting to me. Cannot call it a fix, but I don't smell crow I smell bizullshizit.

So you're gonna continue picking Stiverne in future fights? Why not just admit that he's a fat, slow, plodding cab driver?:think
