Bermane's a bit small to really test it.. sometimes your power loses it's power unless you got a Mike Tyson uppercut if you're fighting a giant.

Wilder boxed very well to the instructions of breland and i cant take that away from him. However his punch repertoire is limited to the jab and the straight right hand. Then theres the desperado wide looping shots that leave him square on and vulnerable. That said if he's really got you hurt he does get the job done. Fury however has a lot of variety in his work both at range and inside. The big question for me about last night is how good stivernes chin is compared to furys.

Credit to Wilder, also showed he can do the 12 rounds.

That said, I still think Tyson Fury KO's him if/when it happens - make it happen!

He boxed much better than i thought he could his jab was pretty good, stiverne was awful just followed instead of cutting the ring off. I think we also saw that wilders power is good but against higher end fighters it doesnt quite have the same effect he hit stiverne so many times flush and rarely rocked him. Overall wilder was better than i thought and stiverne worse. Not sure how to guage wilder

I agree Wayne,I was more impressed with Wilder than I expected and it was a good performance.....but I am not really sure that Stiverne is that good,a lot of lumbering about but very few punches etc.......so in my mind the jury is still out as to whether Wilder is the real deal.

I think in the light of todays heavyweights he is,mate. In his last fight his boxing seemed to have improved, and in this it definitely had. I still think Stiverne is a good fighter, and he proved against Arreola, and in this, that he's as hard as nails. Wilder didn't let him fight. I think Stiverne will be avoided now he doesn't hold a title. For example, couldn't see any of ours fighting him.

Not many heavyweights would have taken those punches,Wayne. Just my opinion.

not shown the weakness round the mandibles that wilder has.

In fact, justify why hes a ko waiting to happen?
