If I'm not mistaken, Bhop bet $100 grand on himself for the Tito fight. That's some G stuff right there and shows you how confident he was. Any other known situations of a fighter putting big money down on himself?.

Vargas and Mosley bet like 100k or something in a one on one personal bet on the outcome of their fight.

I think Hopkins had a 30k personal bet with Eastman that he would KO him.

Hopkins bet on himself against Trinidad. Not sure but I think he also did on Pavlik.

I always thought fighters weren't allowed to bet on themselves for some reason, then was reminded of bhop when fighting tito, but cant think of anyone else who has bet money on themselves.

Yeah, I would also think so too given that a fighter can lose on purpose. It's like a professional athlete betting on the team he's playing with. You can't do that. That's a conflict of interest. Surprised how Bhop wasn't penalized or something for betting on himself.

Kiko Martinez's team clean out in Ireland when he battered Bernard Dunne. Think the team put the bets on for Kiko.

I think betting on yourself to win should be allowed.

Everybody, when betting, expect both fighters to want to win. It changes things if they want to loose, if they have interest to do so.
