The guy that hasn't headlined a televised card wants 3 million. Yeah he really wants this fight

    Sounds fair

He just made 750k beating Ruiz so he knows the value of a Rigo fight

That is ridiculous. Has any 122 pounder ever made 3 mil? I really doubt it. I know Pac got some big paydays back then but even then I doubt close to 3 mil. Only other fighter I can think of is Morales and Hamed that could have gotten close to that money.

Aren't you tired of trolling every Rigo-Santa Cruz thread with your stupid attempts?

Why shouldn't he get a big payday? Judging by the poll choices and winner in the fighter of the year thread, watching midgets slap each other has never been more popular.:p

    True, its what i thought.
And you have to remember that Donaire made 1.3M. (prior to that fight Rachel Donaire said that Donaire wasnt a million dollar dighter)

Cruz knows the value and the risks of Rigondeaux.

But 3 000 000? That has to be some kind of a record.

Fun fact: Leo Santa Cruz, despide being a 2 weight world champion and having fought in 9 championship fights, has not headlined a boxing card during said fights

I know. When Donaire was at the height of his popularity he got 1.5 million to fight Rigondeaux. Rigo earned a career high purse of 750k because he's not a draw. Santa Cruz made 750k last year versus Roman on a Mayweather undercard. Two years ago he fought Morel on an Alvarez undercard for 85k.

    Leo Santa Cruz
    750,000 Ruiz
    750,000 Roman
    500,000 Mijares
    165,000 Munoz
    157,800 Terrazas
    85,000 Morel

He's never made that kind of money and neither has Rigo. That's the kind of money you only make as a major name fighter headlining your own card.
