if floyd chooses cotto, i hope they make canelo -pac on may 2. this will tramp floyds fight and probably make them move to a later date proving he is not ppv king.

    The Scene.

Roidquez says that Pac's speed can penetrate Floyd's guard and calls the fight 50/50 ("coin is in the air"), but a victory will be hard to come by because Floyd is a protected fighter in Las Vegas.

I give floyd the advantage.. although Marquez is correct about floyd being protected he always has a ref who will protect him no matter what happens refs like Cortez. Bayless in his list fight looked like he was going to cry if floyd and Maidana were ever on the inside.. he was there specifically to make sure there was no infighting as Maidana had zero chance any other way. at the same time he is alloyed to elbow and forearm with impunity.

Wierd thing is he is better then his opponents but still wont allow a neutral ref.

Protected but almost lost/draw with Canelo, which was arguably 12-0 and Weeks let Maidana do anything he wanted.. Didn't seem protected there.. Excluding Maidana 2, since that's the only fight people bring up, can you give an example of ref protecting where his opponent wasn't breaking rules?

Always? Ok I'll bite. Floyd has had 47 pro fights. By your knowledge, out of those 47, which fights was he protected by the ref? I'll wait. Should be easy for you to answer since he is ALWAYS protected.

I can't recall many or any fights were Floyd has needed protection from a ref or judges. He seems to do just fine without any extra help in the ring.

Cortez in the Hatton fight would not allow infighting by Hatton and was allowing floyd to elbow and use his forearm the whole fight. Bayless Maidana he would not allow any infighting even if they were not tied up and had hands free all he would break them up and it was to protect Floyd here is an always for you how many times has floyd been warned for his elbows and forearms on the inside which are blatantly illegal.

I had it 8-4 Mayweather, also maidana was dirty as **** in that fight and should have had a point taken away. Maidana had about as much success as de la hoya and judah, so you look like a moron just like your little butt buddy above. Go watch FIFA now you little girl, boxing CLEARLY isn't a sport you have been able to grasp.

You could only come up with 2 times? 47 fights and you come up with 2 occasions and pass that off as "ALWAyS"? Log off troll, you've been exposed!

I've been saying that Floyd's been protected for years.

The fans finally got a fair shake when Weeks reffed the fight and what happened?

    Floyd lost.

He's not that protected at all.

I mean he beat Canelo handily, probably something like 10-2 or 9-3 and still eeked out a majority decision.

His fight with Delahoya wasn't that competitive at all but he once again squeaked by with a SD with one of the judges actually giving the fight to DLH.

Now IMO DLH is the guy I think of when it comes to protected Las Vegas fighters. I just recently rewatched his fight with Sturm and I'm still baffled by that decision?
