Resume has got nothing to do with who is the biggest puncher though, it's mainly about who is the superior fighter and the more accurate and most effective puncher. Just by watching a fighters knockouts and the way the opponents react is a better barometer than who knocked who out.

You can't even pick on your pet Gerbil let alone me, think it's your bedtime. Gotta be up and early for your bus, remember to let the windows heat up first before you start to lick them...

Liston, Louis & Foreman hit just as hard but they were a lot more subtle with their styles. Mike was a lot more refined than most of these guys at an early age so the power was a lot more obvious. Also a young Mike at more speed than Liston or Foreman and was slightly more refined than both as a teen. As a HW speed = power so I'd say Mike from 1985-1991 was probably the harder puncher. After 1991 he never got any better as a boxer except for his defense did wake up Cus DMato like when he was with Mayweather Sr. Other than that he never grew anymore as a fighter so I think Liston and Louis and Foreman had more power over the duration of their careers based on improved technique which never happend with Mike after the 1st six years of a 20 year career....

    Absolutely incorrect in every aspect.

Results, not the eye test, are the only quantifiable measure of power. I am not going to praise guys whose punches only serve to move an impressive amount of wind.

So why were the likes of Tommy Morrsion knocking out bums in more devastating fashion than Tyson was?? I can't recall Tyson ever knocking a fighter unconscious..

Marvis Frazier... That's the only one I can recall but he hit him with loads of shots.
