Word on the amateur circuit was that Leonard moved up in weight to get away from Pryor. That wasn't just a rumor either. He didn't want to blow his Olympic opportunity. In the pros, he didn't duck Pryor. Pryor's popularity didn't quite match up with his skill, so he wasn't in any position to demand any more than what Ray offered him.

So what is the worst myth created by HBO's documentary series?

We all know they attempt to create myths with their hype of underwhelming fighters, but all there series took was some fact-checking.

    Which was the most outrageous?

That Holmes was introduced first against Gerry ****ey as champion was a first. Larry was introduced first against Berbick and that was on HBO additionally Norton was introduced first as champion against Homles. Barry Tompkins didn't know what he was talking about. Chuck Hull who did all the big Vegas fights in the late 70's to mid 80's more often than not introduced the champion first and challenger second. That wasn't unique to the Holmes-****ey fight at all.
