I don't understand what the big deal is..If Peterson loses (which I think he will), nobody in the boxing world will consider him top 5 at 140 lbs anymore, and that'll be that. 140 vs 143 doesn't matter...isn't an obvious advantage for either fighter. Both fighters agree to it well before the fight, plenty of time for both guys to adjust. Let's just be happy that this fight is going down soon on Network television...no need to nitpick
Of course it wasn't going to be at 140. I never expected it to happen there because Danny isn't ever making 140 again.
I don't get why they are not putting their titles on the line. This is like Peterson vs Matthysse where they did the same thing. Guess no one wants to unify the titles anymore which is dumb.

This is actually garbage. I've been saying that Garcia can't make 140 anymore. Why he still fights there, I don't know. He needs to stop bsing with catchweights and go to 147.
I don't mind the catchweight at 143 for Garcia as he works himself up. I just don't get why he still has the belts. Will they take Garcia's belts away after this news?
Peterson is holding that belt hostage! He needs to give it up if he loses, and Danny should be at 147 - He's wasting his time at 140.
