Mariusz Wach taller than WK, Derrick Jefferson, Tony Thompson, Ray Austin about the same size. Pulev was slightly shorter than WK but not by much.

Just ignorant. In the last 16 some years to assume Wlad just hasn't faced someone tall and strong. He's faced plenty that fill that requirement. Wlad is about as tested as they get against opponents of all sizes, skillsets, and styles. Again, its going to take something more than that or something else.

Actually, he doesn't. Wilder has above average speed and mobility for a tall fighter and against Stiverne he looked rather ponderous and inconsistent in that department after a few rounds. Maybe he can improve on this, maybe he won't.

The guy has barely got hit flush his entire career, I don't think you know how to rate defense. Wlad has developed excellent parrying skills and picks punches off as good as any modern heavyweight. His ring IQ is off the charts, he controls the distance, and can evade when required.

Cool prediction, just stand by it when this fight actually happens, and give Wlad credit. Bad pattern on this forum, of potentional Wlad opponents being hyped and dismissed when they don't do what people think they are going to do. Forgive us if we've heard all this before about Sultan, Haye, Povetkin, Pulev..etc.

Wilder was a top 10 contender and now he is WBC champ.

Wach is a no name club fighter with world ranking of 44. He's a nobody.

Derrick Jefferson was another nobody who never had a top 10 ranking.

Thompson was old and slow in the first fight. Wlad still struggled to put him away and had to excessively grapple and maul him to slow him down even more.

Austin had already lost to Harold Sconiers who was one of Wilders early KO victims:rofl


Pulev stood there in front of him with no defence.

The last time Wlad fought a big guy who used a range of movement on the outside like Wilder , he was blown out in pretty much the first round.:dead

Jefferson was briefly a popular HBO fighter and rated top 10 for about a year, he won the RING's Knockout of the Year award in 1999. Hardly a nobody who was never rated.

Hamed relied on his power. When he finally faced a hall of fame calibre opponent he got embarrassed.

the jab that DW utilized the other night is far better than any jab I can remember wlad ever using. the last many years wlad had been pawing the jab only to fall in and mug his opponents.

I might have to go back 6/10 years to see wlads jab, that is actually a jab and not just a pawing range finder. anyone remember the last match wlad brought a true jab into tha match and actually utilized it ?
