Not if he got it from the actual fight which it appears he did.

He got over exerted IN the ring, that simply means he wasnt conditioned enough and hardly anyones fault but his own.

    Wilder wore him out.

Word is that he partied before the fight maybe that was a contributing factor having to sweat out all that alcohol

Stiverne claims he started training in August, was ready by November, had to crank down and reamp going into January. He may screwed up his training but that isn't Wilder's fault.

Google rhabdomyolysis, it can by the symptom of anabolic steroid abuse.

BS. Rhado can also be caused by any source of muscle damage, including taking a beating. I didn't see him train, but I did see him take a beating. I also saw how pudgy he was which does not support the overtraining hypothesis.

The dark color of his urine was from myoglobin being excreted in his urine, assuming it was rhabdo. If it was rhabdomyolyis, it would have been apparent before the fight

Dehydration coupled with rhabdomyolysis would have sent him into renal failure. Renal failure is a complication of rhabdo as is it is with dehydration.

    Dehydration does NOT cause Rhabdomyolysis.

He overexerted himself more than he ever has before trying to walk Deontay down and he got severely dehydrated during a match, it can happen especially if you're fat.

I follow cycling as well, and in 2003 during an hour long time trial Lance Armstrong on a hot day lost 10 pounds and had to be rehydrated afterward, 10 may not seem like much, but since he's basically pure muscle he didn't have very much extra fat to lose so it devastated his system..

Crazy. Another example of the benefits of professionalism in training.

Not saying he did. Just saying given his pudding appearance he should be careful blaming his dehydration on "overtraining". He clearly doesn't look like he trained at all, thus he's opening himself up to speculation of alternative causes.

He only threw 330 punches the entire fight.

To give a reference.... the Jennings vs Perez fight that everyone was complaining was so dull and lackluster, both through over 500.

Wilder, against Stiverne, threw over 600 (620, almost 300 more punches than Stiverne).

So a guy who threw a low 300 punches over 12, 'overworked' himself?

If it was from 'overtraining', and not from the fight, I would assume it would show up pre fight as well. Unless overtraining just weakened his body so much that it made him more susceptible to it during the fight.

Idk, just weird kinda, given the low pace of the fight for Stiverne.

So he over trained and then took some beating from Wilder which made his condition worse?
Doesn't sound like a legit excuse :nono

It takes time to become noticeable though. It's not an instant thing, if he over excreted up to a few days before the fight it wouldn't necessarily show in the prefight **** test.

Is it not usually heavy weight lifting that causes Rhabo as well? If he was over exerting himself with days to go to the fight it's not Wilder's fault.
