He showed a great chin versus Panterita. :?

Ate some bombs in a war and never went down, and wasn't knocked out cold by Figueroa (he quit).

What a fun fight. This and the Imam-Maldonado Jr. fight from Saturday night are the two FOTY candidates thus far. Good stuff.

For a guy who actually has a fair amount of skill - and not much pop (now 22-1-2 with ten knockouts) - Pérez is awfully predisposed to being in fights vastly more exciting than are probably healthy for him in the long run.

Gatti syndrome. (though Gatti did have power, in his defense)

He had suspicions it wasn't gonna hold up:deal..... I know I should have specified and said he showed no heart.

    Yeah, that's better. :good

His performance tonight redeemed that one. He showed heart trading with Acosta (even if Aguacerito is shot, he's clearly still dangerous)

Hopkins says he respects Froch's legacy and says he presents a chance to add to it. He says he is eager himself to pick up a title at super middleweight (having skipped it back in 2005-06 when he moved from 160 to 175) to enhance his own legacy.

Yeah man, they've been in serious talks for a while I guess. First you're hearing of it?
