Lara looked very dominant in his last fight...lara is a belt-holder and a top 5 pfp guy at this point. and he already beat canelo. a canelo-lara rematch is much more meaningful than a cotto fight. i think cotto can beat canelo, but cotto obviously doesn't want the fight....lara vs canelo is the only option left to canelo.

hey canelo, AVENGE the controversy of the first fight...prove to the world you can beat lara without a doubt.

either that or eat your words after you talked schit about fmj not being a warrior and not being a real fighter. fmj gave rematches...why are you scared to get back in the ring with lara again?

Looking like it could be James Kirkland in Tx.

Would be an exciting fight while it lasted

i got kirkland to beat canelo too...but lara is a better fighter than kirkland...lara has a title. lara has a bigger name. a lara fight would make a ton more money. if canelo wants to fight the best like he keeps talking sh8t to other people that they should do, he would fight lara first...then if he wins that, go on to kirkland.

of course, as i write these posts i know that there's NO WAY IN HELL canelo will EVER give lara a rematch...one a88 whipping from lara is enough. canelo's people don't want him going down in defeat again...next time the judges might not be so kind.

How would it make a "ton" more money??

Nobody likes watching Lara fight. Kirkland on the other hand is a crowd pleaser.

Hes also from Texas which would make the fight in the Superdome an even bigger event

**** no! Nasty style mash up. Their first fight was a stinker because Canelo didn't know how to cut off the ring and Lara wasn't stopping.

Lara had his chance to dominate Canelo, and it didn't happen. I had Lara winning and everything, though. He had the stylistic advantage, yet he didn't capitalize on it. It's done, it's over. Canelo moved on and everyone else has too.

translaation: lara would beat canelo's a88 probably worse next time
so "nobody" wants that fight....on the other hand, kirkland seems a little more vulnerable so "everbody" is a lot more comfortable with that match up..

and y'all have the nerve to call fmj a ducker and a cherry picker....at leas fmj gave rematches to castillo and maidana. canelo is just a fkin hypocritical coward who like to call themselves "warriors" but in reality are just some scared biznatches....but then again that's typical of most latino fighters

    Alvarez won't fight him again.

He's a manufactured fighter. He picked on retirement home ''name'' fighters, lighter weight fighters and below par opposition which created the illusion he was elite level.

Mayweather beat him easy and exposed him. Lara beat him easy and exposed him. Trout nearly beat him.

When Mayweather beat Canelo all his fanbois left the forum and never returned.

The fact that Kirkland is WAY more crowd pleasing than Lara has nothing to do with all the other stuff you said.

Lara is a good fighter, but not exactly mister excitement.

Kirkland ion the other hand always comes out swinging

Lara is a better boxer, not better fighter than Kirkland. The Canelo-Lara fight was too close to call I agree with a rematch, but it won't happen anytime soon with more lucrative fights.

Besides hardcore boxing fans, who's going to watch this? Lara stunk the joint up that night.
