These were his words yesterday from the Manny Premiere.

"I know who we are fighting in May, and it is not Pacquiao."

    What about Pacquiao/Khan?

    "That doesn't exist either."

Welp. What do you guys think? If this is true, it will only verify boxing is the most disappointing sport in the world.

This is the latest from somebody involved with negotiations.

”Nobody is “ducking” anybody. There are legitimate business issues to resolve. Doesn’t mean that either side is trying to avoid the fight.”

Who's worth believing? I mean honestly? Everyone can lie so easily. I just don't know who to trust.

I know Manny is a God-fearing Christian, and he truthful so I guess him. He's never been dishonest about these negotiations yet, but who knows what he's being told.

lol, okay. And who was that actress he fooled around with?? A guess adultery is not counted...

I'd say just wait for an official announcement. Everything else at this point is smoke and mirrors. If their plan truly is to make a Super Bowl announcement, they will do whatever they can to throw us off in the meantime.

I guess you all haven't followed Pacquiao as closely as I thought. But, he's mentioned it in every interview since 2012, lol.

Pacquiao used to be drunk all the time, gamble, cheat, didn't spend time with his kids, money issues, etc... the Marquez 3rd fight was probably the climax of it all when his wife found out about all the affairs. His life was in shambles.

    Then, one night... this happened.

This is a direct quotation from Manny Pacquiao.

He's done a 180 degrees flip. His wife talks about how much he's changed. He's with his kids all the time. He no longer drinks, swears, cheats. A 100% family, christian man. So much so that people in his team or shocked at how much he's changed. People within his team have actually converted because I guess the change in his life was extremely dramatic.

He knows some people won't believe him. But he said recently, "It's hard for people to believe because they haven't experienced. But, if they experienced what I did, they would believe."

As of now, he's a changed man. Anyone who knows this will attest to that. AS OF NOW, he is a very honest, and this is why I believe what comes from his mouth regarding negotiations.

I know this was a bit of a tangent, but I felt obligated to defend him when people don't realize he is no longer that person he used to be. Some people say he lost his killer instinct because his change. IDK

I just wanted to say this... For the past 10 years or so, the one guy that time after time is able to beat floyd mayweather is bob arum. Since floyd left top rank Bob has come up with person after person and scheme after scheme to make floyd look like a coward/idiot/loser/runner/etc.

It's a shame Floyd never had the sense to hire a PR team, that is the only way he would have escaped all the bob arum BS for all these years.

I don't think he realizes how absurd the situation he is creating is to ask that Pacquiaos promotor Bob Arum totally eliminate himself from fight negotiations. So basically the fight won't happen just because Floyd doesn't want Arum to make any money and/or he doesn't like him.

why do you care if bob arum is involved?

Only two men matter here... pacquiao and mayweather. If pacquiao HIMSELF wanted the fight for real he would ask arum to step aside for one fight. Pacquiao would rather be with arum then to fight floyd. That much is obvious.

I don't think the OP cares if Arum is involved - he just knows that it is not an option to work around that, due to a little thing called a contract :deal

No promoter, whose primary goal is to get big purses for their fighters, so as they can get the largest commissions, is gonna walk away from the biggest fight in history empty handed. It's an impossible situation to work around. So, in effect, it does nothing more than prevent the fight from happening.

    IT'S VERY SIMPLE!
