What tv appearance is being referenced? Anyone know how I can attempt to find this on youtube or something?
Denver is called mile-high because it's 1 mile above sea level. The stadium is named after the city's nickname I assume
Anyone got video of one of these interviews? Edit: Watched the vid CST80 posted... I think that he looks awful in that video. I understand why he is the underdog now... However he doesn't look NEARLY as bad in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2TBiS3E0QY ...but something is still not quite right about him.
Thanks CST, yeah he looks worn from something. Could be the boxing, could be drugs, almost indiscernible with all he's been through. He didn't look to be on anything during his interview, but some people are able to handle the drugs they do and function properly so you never know.
Ah, yes, now that looked like someone on drugs at the time spoken to. You could see him constantly checking himself as if to ask himself if he were looking right, sounding right, acting right etc. Something that drug users worry about and a normal state of mind of does not.
Terrible to see a dude fade this much... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cfMQ2e7uUc Drugs kids, drugs.
Woah. WTF... That was wierd. I have a feeling we are going to witness something really odd this saturday. When he was shadow boxing it looked nothing like I'd seen before. He was throwing crazy punches, very wide sloppy shots, not paying much attention to defense... also the way he got tired so fast. yeah not a good sign.
not a bad idea. :smoke Actually kinda concerned for this guy's health at this point. He is definitely on something... I was concerned already seeing as his past 4 fights have been absolutely brutal on his brain probably. Not to mention he has probably sparred hard sessions in between them... also I once heard somewhere doing drugs/drinking alcohol is even worse for you if you have a brain issue.
My cousin from Pueblo has friends in Alvarado's crew... Alvarado is a legit gangster. A "hood rat" would be a more appropriate definition based on everything I've heard. But he's always been one so it's not like he magically started getting into hard **** just recently. He's always been. (supposedly... I heard all this before the first Rios fight and while I knew the source was good and that it was true, it was essentially confirmed to me over spotting his legal issues in the news non-stop and particularly showing up to the Rios II press conference with massive facial gashes like he danced dirty with the broken glass from Die Hard)
