 Man, you used to seem to be a halfway intelligent individual. Your weird man love for all things Mayweather have made you nothing but a troll who wishes he had an actual legitimate point of view.

Anyone with any sense of neutrality and reasoning sees this fiasco of having another promoter cut ties with his main fighter as asinine.

Whats sad is you probably think you are a normal person. Its not normal to have your affection for another man skew your reason.

    Of course Money cant win.
Do you really think people are that stupid to follow another person just because he can buy expensive cars and hire *****s? He is a great fighter, but he does not push himself. He has tons of followers on twitter, and a fair amount of facebook wins, and he has alot of ppv's. I buy championship fights not because of one fighter, but because I want to see the championship caliber fighting that should be present.

Dude, he is a fighter. If I want to read about, or watch business people, I read Forbes or watch CNBC. Sure, FM may make an appearance in those titles, but he is a fighter. A true fighter wants to fight the best, and push himself. Mayweather does not do this. Period.
He wont win until he does. He wont win until he steps out of his comfort zone.

He wont win until he realizes people watch him because it is entertaining, much like watching the bachelor is entertaining, or celebrity rehab. Its the same reaction people have when they watch the guy who Maidana spanked for 12 rounds.

He can fight to be the ppv king, and the so called boss of the fight negotiations, or he can fight to go down as the best. It is very evident what he is fighting for.

He is no where close to the best ever. And until he actually attempts to prove his metal like other fighters on the "best ever lists" do, then he will be remembered as the guy who had skills, protected his zero more than he protected the safety of his children's mom, and thought that people like you for how many dollars you have.

    Pretty tragic actually.

TBH it seems to me that Floyd stays winning against Arum.

    - became the #1 draw in the sport once he separated from TR

    - became the #1 money-making athlete in the world without the help of Arum

    - made 2 of the biggest money making fights in the history of the sport without Arum's involvement

    - negotiated for a fight with Arum's biggest cash cow for 50/50 which fell through in 2009, now 5 years later is negotiating for the same fight but this time he'll receive the testing he wanted and an even bigger cut of the profits

    OH SNAP!!!!!

Floyd has been using Arum's ruthless business dealings against him and it's been paying off big time. Like him or hate him you gotta respect the man.

Well I didn't read the article but based on your quote of Marquez is right. That would be a majority opinion as well.

I would be surprised.. For a guy who seemingly manages his own money, or at least know the details of his finances, to disregard the fact that he doesn't make 80+ million a year anymore and still spend money like he does is crazy.. For a guy who knows business more almost any other boxer to lose sight of what he has is also crazy.. Anything can happen though.. I don't think he built his empire just for a short term..
