Pacquiao made about $50 million last year in boxing, fighting two guys. He can, certainly, make more by fighting Mayweather, but he's also in a position where he doesn't have to step and fetch for Money by sitting passively as the "B side" while Mayweather deigns to let him know when and if to show up for the fight in May.

However, I think, if Floyd does beat Manny, it's not fair to manufacture new guys he's, supposedly ducking. He would've fought and beat the one guy, the only guy, everyone was clamoring for him to fight. There would be nothing or no one else left for him to prove.

They've been at this for months, not weeks or days.

If they fight in May, it needs to be done by Jan 31st so each fighter have enough time to travel, do promotional tours, and have a full 8-week training camp.

If they announce the fight on the 31st, it leaves about 1 month for promotional tours and 2 months for training. Anything less than that is unacceptable. Everyone is working on a schedule.

If the b*tch isn't interested, why should people waste their time? Manny want to move on to his next fight and Arum has a promotional company to run. Floyd can go toss dollar bills at strippers.

    I can agree with that.

(you're giving credit to Pac for what Arum has done with spin-jobs, but yes, overall I do agree with the point)

Everybody tired now of Floyd's ****. Just sign the contract or move one. It is Floyd's problem cause his legacy will take a hit.

The purists will not care too much cause that fight should have happened 7 years ago. Now, I am fine with Khan - Pac.

It's not a shame, I mean Cotto "the lineal 160 Champ" also ducks GGG

The best of course is Floyd, because he has managed to stay undefeated by avoided all the guys who had the style to beat him (Paul Williams, Antonio Margarito, Kostya Tszyu, prime Cotto, prime Pacquiao).

Roy Jones was a good ducker for most of his career, but then he made the mistake of fighting Tarver and Johnson, who both had the necessary abilities to knock him out.

Lennox also was a good ducker (actually it was Emanuel Steward picking the opponents), but he got knocked out even by had-picked B-level fighters. That's how ridiculous Lennox was as a champion. He did duck prime Tyson, prime Holyfield, prime Tony Tucker, and did well to cherrypick Tua when he had lost all hope of fighting for the title and had gained a lot of fat at Burger King.

Vlad is the one who has fought the best prime opponents, like Haye and Povetkin. But he did duck a past-it Holyfield, and he seems to be ducking Fury and Wilder.
