Looks like Frankie Gavin has signed with Eddie

Wazza has tweeted that he is not renewing Gavins contact and Eddie has tweeted "Birmingham here we come"

    Guessing its a done deal?

if so, expect the opinion of many on here to switch from boring to skilful.

frankie needs to get a shift on with his career, hopefully if this happens it proves to be the catalyst.

They need to have a well planned out roadmap for him.

Euro title, an International / Silver belt, Eliminator, Final Eliminator and then wait for the mandatory slot. Could easily take a couple of years, no time to be having needless keep busy fights or domestic fights.

Similar to groves signing for them, promised a shot at the main man (froch/brook) IMO, can't see Gavin being made into a star like brook and froch had potential to

He could sign with Golden Boy, it makes no odds - unless somebody can get him to go down to 140, he'll never be more than a domestic level fighter (not that there's anything wrong with that, but he should want more.)

I don't think Gavin's girlfriend would like him being set up with the international (and throughly delectable) model to be honest.

looks like he'll be on the Sheffiled show (nothing special I'd expect).

Hearn tweeted again today that they plan a show for Birmingham, he'd said before May so maybe something bigger for Gavin then.

Who exactly do Wárren and Hennessy have left now? Won't be long before Tyson Fury, Kid Galahad, Paul Butler, etc. join Matchroom as well.

And do you think that will be a good thing?

Can't wait for long long lists of names vs 'tough' / 'ranked' imports

Monopolization is never a good thing.
