Canelo clearly beat Lara and Trout. If Floyd fought Kirkland people wouldnt be dissing the fight, they would be saying "omg Floyds gonna leave on a stretcher cause he doesnt have the power in his glass hands to keep Kirkland honest"

Kirkland is a predictable opponent, out of shape, inactive, and Alvarez should beat him fairly easily

I'm thinking -650 tops and -550 low side. I hear you though, I also think Canelo wins this comfortably but, I don't have it as a bad fight. Kirkland can bang, and Canelo is hittable...

Mayweather-Kirkland wouldn't of have been a bad fight, actually, but Floyd probably would of had him dehydrate and wear pillows. That's why boxing gets disrespected.

It should really tell you something we feel no need to hate on your fighters or people, yet, you feel every need to hate on ours...

Canelos fantastic for this sport, hes fighting tough fights, exactly who the public want to see him fight ... It is just a shame to me we'v seen the style that beats him... He just don't know how to cut a ring off but apart from that he's great for a sport and takes on the toughest guys. No doubt in my mind if he goes up he'l fight golovkin.

While I don't agree with all of the scoring I do love Canelo pushing himself. Can't see Kirkland winning this one, expect Canelo to get him out of there

I agree with you. I think the Lara fight was very close, and shows that he was a stylistic nightmare for Canelo - so more props to him for taking the fight against a high-risk low-reward opponent (a star fighter fighting someone that is stylistically troublesome for them, who no-one outside of hardcore boxing fans really know is the definition of high-risk low-reward).

I'm not 100% convinced Canelo is the future of the sport, but I can't believe people are callng him a coward or cherry picker. He's very fan friendly, and that is partly why his star has risen quickly - and he wants to pay the fans back. Credit where it's due. :thumbsup

Someone in his position could be WAY more egotistical at this stage....
