No I also agree with you to a point. When I say "outbox" I'm talking about the end result of the fight. I'm using the Khan vs Danny fight because it was a short fight. And yes, Khan was outboxing Danny for two rounds but ultimately Danny outboxed Khan to win the fight.
Or the Molina vs Bey fight. Bey was outboxing Molina until Molina outboxed him to win the fight by ko.

Lol. Did u see the fights? It's more accurate to say he was outboxing Garcia and his jaw betrayed him. Prescott just caught him on the button before anything happened

I already answered your question. If that would have happened, you could say Martinez was outboxing Jr, until Martinez outboxed him to keep him. Again I'm talking end result and the moment .

Doesn't matter what weaknesses Betrayed you... The moment you got caught first that's the moment you got outboxed. All part of boxing. Khan outboxed Danny the first two rounds and Danny outboxed him the last two rounds. Whether it was chin or anything else, it's a fight. It's not over until the last bell or someone gets koed.

I think what we are trying to figure out is if you are looking at it like this...A fight concludes before it's natural duration due to a KO. At the time fighter "a" was up on the cards but ultimately lost by KO to fighter "b" Is it automatic that the fighter that delivered the KO as having been the one to outbox the other, or do you take into consideration how many rounds were won by each fighter, and do you have a scenario that a fighter could outbox another and still lose by KO?...because I think most people do. Obviously there are gray areas considering how many rounds, like only a couple rounds ahead and then getting KO'd you could easily make the argument just as you're saying.

I take everything into consideration. I look at it as a two part deal. Fighter "A" was outboxing fighter "B" for most of the fight. However, that split moment/second that Fighter "B" koed fighter "A", that was the moment he outboxed fighter "A".
I'm not saying that Fighter "B" outbox "A" the entire fight. I'm talking about the moment of the ko'. Of course you only get koed once in a fight. That one and only round you outboxed the other guy. Obviously he either , got there (chin) faster, used his timing or set him up (all attributes of boxing) to get the ko.

I used the Khan fight only because it lasted only 4 rounds, yet people make it sound like Khan was outboxing Danny for 8 rounds.

I think most people recognize a KO moment as a moment they outboxed the person they KO'd. Even in judging, if one fighter is clearly outboxing the other but the round is still close when the one being outboxed manages to drop the other fighter, they then get credit for that knock down, and for having come back and outbox the other guy. So it should be known by everyone there is truth to what you're saying and how much weight knock down's and KO's actually have to say as to who was winning the "boxing" match in that moment. And I agree, people shouldn't bother mentioning Khan's "outboxing" of Danny, it either isn't true or not significant at all.

They say styles make fights and Khan sums this up better than any other fighter. Fantastic on the outside using his speed but put him in their with a pressure fighter who keeps coming and he has zero inside game, can't stick to a game plan and ends up stumbling round the ring for rounds on end like a drunken bum.

Not saying you're wrong about Garcia, he timed Khan and caught him with a great shot, then he without a doubt outboxed Khan once he had him hurt. That was a full two rounds, not some flash KO. However KOing someone does not mean you outboxed them.

I see getting knocked out as being outboxed
