How do you think this fight goes? Must admit ain't Estrada fight ever I've heard he's tough and keeps coming foward. And mitchell was destroyed by katsidis and burns when he went toe to toe. Mitchell's punch resistance ain't the best but he was once very talented and has good power in both hands, throws a quality left hook.
Estrada would be up to task to give Mitchell a hard go anyway, but for this he has Nacho Beristain as his chief second, with assistant coach Juan Manuel Marquez also in the corner. Kev's fuuuuuuuucked.
Nacho & Dinamita whispering in your ear? That's like a combined ring IQ of... ...of... [yt]SXBFVqN4YlQ[/yt]
He probably will be at the bookies. (edit: in fact, is. 4/9 - and you can lump on Estrada at 12/5!! :shock Put it this way: though not very well known outside Mexico, Estrada is closer to Burns/Katsidis' level than the level of anyone Kev has beaten.
Yeh but what's his style. Even maduma was outboxing mitchell until he gassed out and got caught. Mitchell is a pretty skilful fighter when he's on, he easily outboxed Prescott. Can you see Estrada giving him a beating or simply outboxing him?
Wonder if Mitchell was rushed into this one as a cash out deal/final title shot grab after failing in his previous two title attempts, struggling mightily in his last fight against a mediocre opponent, and re-hydrating over the limit for the last belt he fought for. One way or another, he's not going to be at lightweight very much longer. Not really expecting anything though. Estrada is roughly on the level of a Beltran and he didn't leave the UK with a belt when went over there. Anyway, what's Estrada bringing into the ring here? He made a amateur mistake when he was cold ****ed by Omar, was put on the mat by a 14-7 fighter and if I'm remembering the Arakawa match he didn't put on quite the shutout performance that Linares managed.
I want mitchell to win a world title before he retires. He was heavily on the coke and booze at one point partying hard,so this will be a great story if he can succeed through all the troubles.
Well it serves him right for wasting talent and living it up instead, i did feel sorry for him when katsidis beat him up though. Okay he wasn't the world beater people hoped for him, but he had some pretty good skills. And I like the hammer :| he's a nice guy and I'm a brit****. :yep
