    Oh the irony :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

    Jones was a bigger ducker than Floyd ever thought of being.

    been backing floyd for years over this and still believe its highly likely he beats pac truly didnt think he was ducking

    but right now its looking like he is going to pull it off and fight cotto and thats not because of anything arum/koncz/pac has said even moonves has been saying "we will get him" are they really having to convince him to step into the ring? this will be his doing if it doesnt come off and proves he only wanted the date and ruined 2 fights just to get it

    I hope fans finally say screw you we aint paying for recycled garbage anymore

    Good points!

    And lets add that he knows Manny has no good options for a huge PPV fight other than him. Marquez doesn't want a 5th fight, Bradley 3 is pointless, Rios has a fight coming up, Chaves is not marketable, any Haymon fighter is not going to fight him. So his options are very limited and Mayweather knows this.

    maybe he thinks the puerto rican fans will pull in the numbers over 1 million which is all he needs to justify choosing cotto (in his head anyway)

    hopefully there will be backlash even with cotto fans over the loss of the canelo and the pac fights in one fell swoop. 2015 went from looking amazing to being just another year of **** and disappointed hopes. Boxing sucks when the good matches aren't made. Canelo Cotto should have been an awesome fight. I hope no tickets are sold to Floyd's fight, and no PPV's purchased. Only way to prove boxing has jerked around the people too long.

    yea we can only hope everyone does the same and lets it bomb but he gets a set fee doesnt he so im not sure he will care as long as he gets paid and rides off into the sunset

    has 1 fight left after Cotto god knows who he will choose maybe in September he will just shadow box in the ring for 12rds on PPV and his shadow gets 10%

    Roy's win over Toney > Floyd's career.

    Roy being a MW and winning a HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP > Floyd's career AND resume.

    1. Bob Arum is full of **** and won't let the fight happen just like he wouldn't let PBF fight Oscar but when PBF leaves Arum he fights Oscar. Just like he wouldn't let Cotto fight PBF. Cotto leaves Arum we get the fight. Bob Arum has always been and obstacle of getting this fight done. Funny PBF didn't have any problems getting Oscar, Canelo, Hatton, Mosley, Cotto and JMM in the ring did he?

    Yeah, because he didn't fly all over the world challenging euro puss**s who were too dumb to come to America to fight him :rofl Instead he chose to whoop on a prime James Toney and prime Bernard Hopkins, then move up and dominate Lt Heavyweight and take a piece of the Heavyweight Title.

    Joe Calzaghe was fighting Peter ****ing Manfredo in his 43rd fight, problaiming he was the goat :lol::patsch

    This would be somewhat true if you compare Floyds career before he faced DLH, but afterwards it is completely not true. There was never a fighter the whole world wanted Roy to face that he didn't(except Calzaghe who was ducking Roy)...and he did beat the best and take on all opposition if it made financial sense.

    Exactly. That was what I was thinking. This fight needs to get made but I'm smelling some of the old bull**** tactics Arum has been using since 2009. Using deadlines isn't smart because we know just well that has worked in the past. Talking like negotiations are finished? Arum looking suspect as usual.

    Jones fought Hopkins in 1993 and Toney in 1994. Where were all these big fights after that? :huh

    He refused to fight THE champion at Light Heavyweight just like he refused to fight THE champion at Heavyweight. He wasn't interested in making tough fights or taking risks.
