How would Floyd have done against:

Quintana
Clottey
Cotto
Margarito
Cintron
Williams?

Margarito, prime Cotto and PW were all really fancied to give Floyd a proper test

Shame Floyd was such a coward.. He was good enough to win all of these fights, would have done a lot for his legacy

 

Unanimous dec. Quintana with possibly a few knockdowns from Mayweather
Unanimous dec. Or split decision Clottey depending on which version of Clottey shows up
Cotto we already know. Would have given Mayweather a tougher fight before he fought Margarito
Could decision Cintron. Would have to be careful not to get caught with Cintron's big right.
Williams decisions Mayweather or stops him late. Williams too big and long, punches nonstop, decent pop, and Mayweather is too cautious. Not enough pop either to keep Williams off of him either

 

Maybe Floyd is worried that people won't watch him fight anymore if he were to lose.

It should be noted that most of these guys aren't particularly good apart from Cotto and his technical skill and Williams with his freakish size and physicality. Just remember Cotto took two beatings, one presumably at the hands of a cheater and at least got 4 rounds in on Mayweather who I'm sure was hoping he'd be more shop worn than he actually was. Williams was most likely never an option

Cintron - 10 - 2 UD
Williams - 9-3 UD

 

Yeah, thats probably what it comes down to, money
