It will have to be. Otherwise Lee will get shafted on the cards.
Just look at his last fight, against a guy who wasn't even American and who had none of Quillins "pull".
US judges rob the away fighter every time.
It's knockout or nothing for Andy.
Still I would do the same thing. Even with the loss he'll bank some dinero and his profile will be boosted. Plenty more fights will be open to him. The alternative is to fight someone like Spike, Blackwell BJS etc for relative pennies ....and maybe still lose anyway.

Fair play to TG4 for their continued support of Irish boxing at a variety of levels, was so glad when the IABA rejected RTE's offer to broadcast the nationals last year and went with TG4 instead. Would really like to see them broadcast a few pro cards to, though doubt they have the budget for it.

I was thinking the same thing.

Surely when the odds are tight is a bad time to be betting, no?

yes and no... the odds are starting to drift out now on the fiters that are fancied by the posters on here.... so not as much money to be made now... whereas the early punter could have made money assuming hes picking rite:good

Didn't they show Stephen Ormond and Henry Coyle fighting for the WBU belts a couple of years ago?
