what makes you think he would walk down and FINISH a guy who has NEVER been finished in his career.

Simple. Mayweather hits like a girl at ww, and Margarito has one of the hardest jaws i have ever seen. He will get bullied, and backed into the ropes and all the little punches Mayweather throws will not keep Margarito off of him. Like Maidana only 10 times worse. Margarito wont get tired, and he wont get hurt.

 

plus the man had concrete in his gloves he would def be a tough out

you didnt read my post. Had NOT Margarito been labled a cheater and had LEGITAMENT pop, he would have walked Mayweather down. And lets be realistic. Mosley hits much harder than Mayweather.

 

Yeah Margarito pre Shane was a Terminator. He had no defence cause he didnt need it. Cintron was the most feared puncher in the division back then and Tony just walked him down, Kermit's flush blows having no effect whatsoever

If he could take Cintrons bombs that way, Floyd's hardest shots would have been like getting hit from a peashooter

Floyd would have been constantly walked down, put on the back foot, punched hard all over. Mentally thats what broke Cotto. No matter what he did he still had this freakin Terminator walking him down relentlessly

Could Floyd have handled that?

He beats them all except maybe Williams. Williams has the best chance, but Quintana was able to steal a win from Williams....so why couldn't Floyd :deal

Thats what these narrow minded so called boxing fans dont get. Margarito was a monster. Still dont know if he really cheated, but before the issue came up, he was mowing guys down. Mayweather just doesnt have the physicality, or the size, or the legs to keep a guy like Margarito off of him

 

Quintana -Stylistically , I don't see how Quintana can pose a threat to Floyd at all . Easy work for Floyd . Floyd by SHUTOUT . 120 to 108

Clottey - Floyd dominates him , Clottey is nowhere near active enough to get the job done . 119-111

Cotto - Floyd wins a hard fought decision over Cotto . 116-112

Margarito - I would root like hell for Margarito but he gets outclassed and potshot all night by a very cautious Floyd . 117-111

Cintron- Floyd Beats him in a highly competitive fight . 117-111

Williams - A guaranteed loss for Floyd , a complete stylistic nightmare for him . Williams by late TKO or SHUTOUT .

 

think about what your saying... Mosley hit's harder than floyd and he DESTROYED MARGARITO. Pretty much controlled him the entire night.


Floyd CONTROLED MOSLEY for 35 minutes and 30 seconds of that fight and completely controlled him in clinches. So again I ask you... what makes you think someone who couldn't control or T/KO mosley could T/KO floyd mayweather?

 

Nice try. Mosley stopped fighting after round 2. Mosley while a big puncher, does not have the leverage, cast iron jaw, stamina and aggression of Margarito. Mosley became hesitant whether it be from fatigue or what, but Margarito isnt gonna wait and let Mayweather just get off. He is going to walk right in and throw. And guess what. Mayweather is going to feel it
