This is just era defining stuff.

Hasn't been heard of since Armstrong. Will TBE be the second man to accomplish such a feat? Yes we all know Armstrong did it in the original weight classes, but who else has accomplished a feat like the one The Money Man is on the verge of?

    Discuss.

Note: Not making a ridiculous PRO-Mayweather thread. This is exactly what he's doing if he fights Cotto, attempting to be a 3 weight world champion lineally simultaneously. The reason I used TBE is ALSO because that's his NICKNAME. Similar to people using "Pac", "Sugar" etc etc.

    Take it up with him.

    Money
    TBE (The Best Ever)

Don't make trolling or ridiculous pro-Mayweather threads. (even if they have naught to do with Pacquiao)

Armstrong also did it with the actual weightlimits, actually defended them and without catch-weights. No comparison.

This is not a ridiculous pro-Mayweather thread. This is exactly what he's doing, being a 3 weight world champion simultaneously (Lineal). Never boasted about him ridiculously in the OP or anywhere else. :deal:happy

Fighting for the lineal MW title at a catchweight against a fighter that never fought at the MW limit either would be one of the biggest boxing travesties of the last 10 years.

No wonder boxing in the US is going downhill, but I am sure fanboys will still buy it.

Against who? And the big question is, will he defend that title?

You do realize that if Floyd gets a 160 belt, then not fighting GGG will in fact be a duck right? Are you sure you want your guy to be subjected to all the additional ridicule, and be remembered just for ducking?

Right now calling out Floyd to fight GGG especially at 160 is something serious fans typically agree as being silly. If Floyd calls himself the 160 champ though.. that all changes.

What has boxing come to, if the supposed "champ" of a division literally drops a big steaming one in his pants at the thought of fighting the best at the weight? :-(
