I understand that but to me it doesn't matter. Hopefully with Ward's new contract he's able to get into the spotlight.

And look at you talking about draws and whatnot.

I think he would but I wouldnt mind seeing him in there with someone else besides Ward first. The real question would be how he deals with getting hit back by the bigger man. Ward is no great puncher but he would be landing far more often. Id really like to see this fight and the contrast in styles.

Saw a video the other day where he said he admired the way Kovalev is going about his business.

He said hes "doing it the right way" by going after the best fighters in the division.

Like I said, Ward isn't exactly the loud, trash talk type of guy.

calling a fight between a champion and his mando, both at the top of their division in front of 80k a domestic clash is trash talking.

as xelloss pointed out, now ward's finally in a position to fight again, he can ease off.

It essentially was. A very big domestic clash like Haye-Chisora or even Eubank-Benn.

Lots of people called it a big domestic clash. Even Hearn called it that. Was Hearn insulting them too?

Froch was world champion and Groves for in a position for mandatory,

Being the mandatory doesn't make you a superstar,it means you have good management.

The 80k was due to an absolutely amazing hob done by Hearn on promotion and and the controversial end to the first fight.

I don't judge fights by how many people show up.

Wlad-Mormeck got 50km and was considered a farce,
