No he didn't. He looked terrible under Diaz. He was being trained to fight in a Cuban amateur style, slapping punches and just looking to score. No real power in his shots. The "scientific training methods" that Diaz had Cotto doing did jack. His stamina worsened and he had no fire at all with Diaz.

I meant from match 1 to rematch. More limited pool.

most picked martinez depending on how much he had left. turned out it was next to fucl< all, and obviously so to everybody, except for those determined to pretend cotto is a legit lineal mw champ. sure sergio had been the man, but was nowhere near that man by the time he fought miguel.

Oh. That's why Mayweather himself says he respects the hell outta Cotto and has followed him since AM's, through when both were signed under Arum, when Mayweather acknowledged Cotto very well may have beaten him. (matter of record; look it up)

Quite honestly i dont give a f. nada not a thing about the fight is should not be happening PERIOD.
two cowards dodging better fights boxing will be better when both those cowards are gone.
They both can rot in hell i hope the roof in wherever they fight ( vegas ) caves in and kills both those worthless cowardly primadonnas.

Instead of two must see great fights these two piles of **** are doing a rematch at a catchweight for a tainted title that only floyds most jock sniffing fans wants anything to do with .:deal:mad:

I think he'd actually beat him easier the second time around. Cotto is still way too slow for Mayweather and he's not a large MW whatsoever. Mayweather has already seen him inside the ring for 12 rounds. For a guy as cerebral as Floyd, he tends to do much better in sequels.

Granted, Cotto has looked good under the tutelage of roach, but he's still at his core the same fighter he was when he fought Floyd a few years ago. I think matchmaking in his last 2 fights against Rodriguez and a faded Martinez gives this false impression that Cotto would actually fare better in a rematch with Floyd.

All Mayweather has to do is keep it in the center of the ring and he can cruise to a 9-3 type of decision.

Of course you say that. Thus, it justifies the rematch.

Your train of thought is very predictable. As are Floyds choice of opponents.
