Larry Holmes: Klitschko has no jab, no heart and would be beaten by Wilder or Stivern

I'm much fonder of Joe than Larry, but I can't see him beating him. I mean he could, but I wouldn't favor him prime4prime.

And he was clinching like a mutheretrucker in that fight aswell. Non stop. Mind you, a prime tyson! And a past prime Holmes, still klitchko uses the clinch to put his weight on the man, he uses it nullify but tire the opponent out predominately. Povetkin was a dangerous fighter, wlad wanted nothing to do with inside fighting, same with haye although david wanted to suck klitchko off so fully obliged in the grappling.

Yeah, you might be right. It's probably either a KO win for Frazier or a decision win for Holmes. Holmes was the better boxer, no doubt about it. But he struggled with guys not as good as Frazier (Witherspoon, Spinks, Weaver, Shavers, and Norton). It would be a fun fight to watch, I think Frazier had the kind of movement to hurt Holmes, while Holmes had the ring generalship to maybe shut Frazier down.

Yeah, Holmes shouldn't have taken on Tyson at that point in his career. I wouldn't even take a prime Holmes against Tyson, I just think it is a bad style matchup for Larry.

I might take him over Klitschko though.

    And Louis ?

    Ali
    Louis
    Lewis
    Foreman
    Marciano

All arguably greater, depends on your criteria.

I rank Holmes ahead of Wlad, and would pick him to beat Wlad , best for best.

But Wlad's jab at its best, is superior to Larry's best.

    And that's saying something.

No way is Wlad's jab better than Holme's. I'd take Klitschko's right hand over Holmes's right hand but not jab.

Larry's title defenses were againsts several fighters with drug problems. And several title defenses against green fighters with less than 18 fights. He never unified the WBA & WBC belts, or later that IBF belt with any other one. Questionable reign, Wlad's run has been better.

Regarding jabs, I think Holmes' jab is better. But Wlad's jab is very good. Holmes has always been classless.

Holmes was fighting bums in his 66th fight.
Wlad is still the champ and is impressing.

Holmes jab was faster, but wlads WAS more powerfull . In right hand department Wlad has power advantage as well , same with left hook. Wlad is much bigger, stronger , more powerful than holmes. In chin department I have to give edge to Holmes. Prime vs Prime I'd pick wlad on points or late tko

    Toe-to-toe its a close fight.

But Wlad's reign has been greater.

Klitschko is better in almost everything. In my book if Klitschko beat Fury and Wilder, he is legitimate top 5 ATG. If he beat the time record of Louis and for total defences he become number 1.
This is just in my book. Everyone have their opinions and i respect that.

    Lots of keyboardwarriors here.

Anybody who knows anything about boxing knows good old Larry beats Wlad'ass everytime.Ain't no debate.

Wlad has been facing farmers and dead bodies for the last 10 years or so.
