But the young Alabaman held on and did what he said he was going to do. That merits admiration, not boorish sour g****s from a pair of chin-checking clowns who can't admit they got it wrong and give some credit where it's due. ****es me off !:fire PS :This site's starring out policy is really starting to **** me off too. Yeah, Wilder's glass chin sure hasn't gone away. Once he fights a decent fighter who isn't dehydrated and sick, he will be destroyed.
I think we should all start being realistic about Wilder. A) He passed a test and proved that his china and stamina were not as bad as some of us (me included) thought. He leaps to the top 3-5 of the division, and is as legitimate an alphabet soup titlist as any. And B) There are still questions. Stivern came in terrible shape and did not put up a great fight. Wilder has done nothing to indicate that he is the man to beat Wlad, who remains the real champ. He has certainly earned his right to try, if he so desires. And C) Even whose of us that were wrong were correct that his "power" is largely a manufactured phenomenon. Stivern has a good chin, so it is not like he is feather fisted either. But he does not have the kind of Tyson-esque power that his people have been trying to sell. All in all, he is a legit contender/alphabet titlist who still carries some questions.

Wilder has one of the best chins in HWs today. How anyone denies this, I will never know. The dude took hellacious blows from Stiverne, blows that would have blown up 99% of other HW's out there.
