Presume you are once again trying to get my attention? Normally I just look past your irrelevant posts, but as it was the only one on this page when I looked, have given it time. I will soon make good on that, by showing how irrelevant you are, by asking you to explain what I am supposedly telling lies about?
Watch how irrelevant Herol wont be able to explain and how his irrelevant post is just to try and make friends with Imperial who will look to jump in, in a bid to hide his duck, whilst Herol pulls a duck and doesnt answer this question. Ducker and completely irrelevant ducker .
Well thats enough time spent wasted on irrelevant Herol

Here is the quote from Larry Merchant
now 1995(as the last year joens was at supermiddle)''Two 168 belt-holders, Steve Collins and Frankie Liles, have rejected big money offers to fight Roy Jones- Larry Merchant announces'' -- And that's why roy jones then moved up

And as far as the challenge during behind the gloves im not sure what happened was Collins even cleared to fight again ?

yeah he was he got cleared dont think jones wanted it , but you have to say it seemed clear from that show that colins wanted the fight always and jones was kind of quiet about it , jones didnt say anything like we offered you money and you didnt take it, you have to gauge from the show that it was jones who wasnt that keen. you could tell too that collins just didnt want to fight calzaghe aswell from that show.

Collins was offered a fight in 95 and he turned it down had he beat Reggie Johnson im sure he would have got his crack ..Too bad the fight with Joe never materalized either bcause the winner would have fought Jones as well and he was still an elite fighter back then.

I honetly don't know what happened to the most recent negotiations but I doubt Jones didn't want considering he recently fought at cruiser against Ledebev

Maybe you could shed some light on what happpened to those 2 recently

im fairly young didnt watch the jones era so im no expert on this , and its not that i dont belive your quote but sometimes these things can be misconstued or it just wasnt really the case, im sure though from watching the show though that collins defientely wanted the fight when he was a signigant champion and roy for whatever reason wasnt as keen. Actually remebring now it looked like later on it might not have been jones' fault but it probably was earlier when he was the main champion, but maybe collins wasnt seen as a big fighter im not sure myself he collins says it was the 'natural fight'' of the division

Same thing again with this recent collins thing, i was following it after i seen the gloves are off, it looked like it was going ahead but jones didnt go for it, again mayeb he thought it wasnt really siginigant since he fought a few relevant enough guys recently

i apolgise i found a source which says the fight probably would not be sanctioned and thats why it didnt happen, i remeber while i was folowing it it seemed like roy wasnt bothered but maybe this is why

Have you got the link yet, to show Collins was offered?
Thats rubbish to comment on the R Johnson fight. That was a close debateable fight at MW and nothing to do with Collins at SMW.
Thats like saying that because Johnson lost a close debateable fight with Toney at MW he was lucky to get the fight with Jones at LHW :patsch

There is video evidence the direct quote came from Larry during an Hbo broadcast you of all people should know about video evidence

And did you even watch the Johnson Collins figh? History around here has proven that you don't even watch fights that you comment on. So I dont know why anything eould change with you but there was nothing controversial about that fight!
