The rumblings have started for certain. I cannot help but wonder how many guys in the NBA and NFL could have beat Wilder if they chose boxing instead?

His co-manager Finkel has already stated no need to rush him. He needs to develop? Wtf? BS is that??? You develop and grow before you become champion not after. This guy is going to be another soft matched hype machine for Haymon. What a joke.

only in boxing today can a fighter hold a major belt and claim he needs more time.

That is what kills the sport. You have the highest paid athlete in the sport that hasn't had to face his top competition in years. Now you have a heavyweight who wins a belt and will be packaged to American audiences as a destroyer while he fights B-C level comp.

Boxers are supposed to be the most narcisstic people on earth but most of them sure don't show it, too many phony fighters the past 40 years. If you get a belt in a division you should want them all and welcome any challenger no matter how scared you are.

It won't get stronger but it will get abit more intresting. Everyone knows that no one can challenge the brothers. The only hope that even had a remote chance was David haye but Wladimir boxed his shoes of (literally).

Hopefully Wladimir gets to fight Deontay and we can FINALLY get something resembling one belt in a divison. Even though alot of people hate Wladimir imagine acually having a single champion in a divison I think that would be great and would atleast enhance the heavyweight scene.

This is completly irellivant to be honest. It's like wondering what the price of cheese would be if the moon was made out of it.
