Provodnikov trashes all of them. That doesn't mean hes the best fighter in the bunch. Thats either Matthysse or Maidana. But styles make fights and I'd favor Provo to beat Matthysse easily. He'd struggle with Maidana but I think he gets to him. Rios vs Provo would a real war but I think provo has the advantage in this one too.

    1. Matthysse - Would beat Rio's & Maidana, maybe Provo
    2. Provo - Would beat Rio's in a slugfest, Maidana would be dropped. Would be outworked by Matthysse
    3. Rios - Would beat Maidana on the inside (better chin too), would be outworked and outclassed by Matthysse, would be beaten on the cards by Provo, provo does the more damaging work
    4. Maidana - Potentially beat Rio by SD, would get dropped by Provo and would lose a slug fest with Matthysse.

The winner could be either Provo or Matthysse, but I would lean towards Matthysse...

    Matthysse knocks out Maidana .

Matthysse stops Rios late or Points win . Rios chin is truly Iron .

Matthysse/Provo can go either way .

    Provodnikov TKOs Maidana .

Provodnikov outbrawls Rios and stops him late .

Maidana batters Rios to a points win or Rios force's him into a brawl and TKOs him via multiple knockdowns .

Matthysse and Ruslan are tied for Number 1
    2 . Marcos Maidana
    3. Brandon RIOS

Matthysse is the better and more skillful fighter compared to Ruslan .

Then again mostly all of Ruslans opponents are more skillful than he is, yet that still doesn't stop the Russian from having his way and beating the sh#t out of anyone they put in front of him .

No matter what style of fighter you can think of , that fighter will be put threw hell and back fighting Ruslan , that's just the way it is . He will never be an easy fight for any man .

I see Lucas getting into a firefight with Provodnikov very early , Lucas is used to men retreating from him or dropping whenever he lands a bomb .

Provodnikov does not know the meaning of retreating , he will keep coming at him all night .

I see both men getting staggered at some point during the fight , Ruslan will probably be cut up after the very first rnd , his face is going to be a mess .

As far as my pick ?

    I just cant predict....

Honestly I can see so many different outcomes to this fight .

That's why i said it can go either way .

yeah i pretty much see all them fights the same way you do but i think provodnikov will just edge out mattesye simply because I think he's a little tougher right now can take the better shot and will be more used to that type of fight. Im hyped for the fight but it could be the end for either guy at world level and it will be tough for mattesye if he gets a loss because he could have beaten garcia in my opinion in a rematch and beaten a few more quality level fighters. provodnikov is more limited against most world fighter but if he takes mattesye out it will be a long way back for mattesye, and he wont have gotten any real good wins besides peterson which is a pity really.

Honestly , I really don't want to see both of these men fight lol

Just like you said , this fight could be career ending for either man , and I have so much admiration for both fighters , I don't wanna see the end for either guy .

I still feel there are other opponents out there for these 2 to wreck havoc on .

Unfortunately , the majority of WWs just don't want nothing to with either man , so this fight could very well happen soon .
