Whats a lucky punch. Are you saying Foreman didn't mean to throw the punch and only knocked out Moorer by accident?:patsch

Moorer wasn't making the final bell. Foreman was just biding his time , implementing his gameplan.

Teddy Atlas even knew it. He said he knew it was coming but could do nothing about it.

Take your ass to the Klitschko fanboi forum.

No real boxing fan dumps on boxing hero's like that.

    Lennox Lewis didn't destroy Vitali.

I watched that classic fight todays, after many years. The last heavyweight war between two hall of famers, imo.

4-2 at the end of the 6th round.

Klitschko was DEMOLISHING Lewis in the first and especially the second. Then Lewis produced that cut and the fight was a bit more even. I think Lewis can be HEAVILY criticized by his decision of not giving Vitali a rematch.

The first two round, when they were under conditions, Vitali was giving Lewis a lesson.

Lewis was out of shape, though, but that's not Vitali's fault.

It does not matter. Lewis TKO'd him - that's the point of boxing, scorecards don't mean **** if the other fighter can stop you with more impactful punches.

to back that up what evidence do you have for 38+ year old champs at hw offering matches for title defences against decent opposition?

I don't think theres hardly any. but please do make a list to support your theory if u can. u need to prove its the norm for 38 year olds to want to defend titles throughout hw history.

    The truth :happy

Look how Chisora a journey man bullied and chased Vitali around the ring. Imagine what Foreman will do! It will be over in 3!

Under normal conditions (round 1 and 2), Vitali was beating Lewis easily. The rest of the rounds were tied, even when Vitali was cut.

I know most fighters only care about their records and money, but a true sportsman would have given Vitali a rematch. I can only think of one reason of why Lennox didn't give Vitali that rematch: because he knew that Vitali, without cuts involed, was destroying him.

A true sportsman should accept that the scorecards and ''what ifs'' mean nothing if the other guy is hitting you so hard that your career is in jeporady.

    hello.

you appear tohave answered a different post.

I ask you again for your evidence to support your claim that it is norm for 38+ year olds to carry on defending world titles. please show it is the norm for them to do so by providing a list of those HWs that did.

once you have done this then you can claim with support that lewis retired too early.
