Whats taking Floyd so long to announce Cotto II?

The way things are looking, there are no issues on either side. If there are no issues and Mayweather fights Cotto, it's a flat out duck. As it stands right now, you cannot call it a duck or Cotto "plan A" until after Feb 1st.

abd Espinoza, hbo, showtime and other sources have saidd thatvthere is no contract and the networks cant agree so who do you believe? you cant just take one side without proof. apparently hbo doesnt want to agree to the deal they had for Tyson/Lewis because they know this time the HBO fighter is the underdog

 

arum said plepler/hbo, moonves/showtime, pac and haymon are all on board. they are just waiting on mayweather, train leaves end of january.

 

IF Floyd does fight Cotto and Manny fights Khan (I assume this isn't going to happen) it will look worse on Floyd simply because we have heard the Cotto rumours since November. Only recently have we heard of Pac/Khan. It will look really fishy on Floyd's part.

If Pac ends up fighting Vargas, then it is as fishy as Floyd/Cotto and a complete joke. This fight has been rumoured since the Algieri fight.

 

i wouldn't be surprised if espinoza ain't a part of this negotiation.

floyd is doing a good job building hype, he has people talking about his upcoming fight and wondering who his next opponent is. he does this every time. he is trolling the boxing fans and casuals, getting people angry that he could pick cotto over pac, building more hate. he relys on the hate to sell more fights and make more $$$ i think he will announce the pac fight at the super bowl.
