Alvarez Kirkland does what is says on the tin. It's not a con job like mayweather Cotto 2 which is a 155lb catchweight for the Linear 160lb title

:patsch ... IF Mayweather-Cotto happens it will trounce the cinnabum-kirkbum event ... bank on it

as i always say, what people say and vote on this forum is opposite of the public sentiment

Floyd-Cotto is much higher quality match up, I would pick that.
Both are free if you go to a sports bar

While I think Canelo wins handily over Kirkland, I would still watch that one.

I have not paid for a Floyd fight since DeLahoya... and will not pay for one unless he fights Pacquiao.

I think Cotto would give Floyd more trouble than before- if this fight happens- but he still loses a decision in a Floyd-type fight.

    I'd probably watch the re-broadcast.

i'm sorry but canelo vs kirkland may steal a few hardcore fans from a mayweather fight but it wont steal the spotlight. the only thing helping is that its free, they need to stack the undercard if they want to compete w a mayweather fight.

I'll watch Canelo/Kirkland for free on HBO and catch the rerun of that other fight the following week. Shame on Floyd for being such a coward.

I am not ever going to buy a Mayweather fight again unless it's against Pacquiao, or Golovkin.

I'm pretty sure that the biggest PPV consumers are Latinos, and by Latinos I mean Mexicans and Mexican Americans.

Even if a large percentage of the Latino demographic buy the Mayweather fight, a likely larger Latino percentage will watch the FREE HBO Canelo-Kirkland fight.

Latinos love this sport, and they love fighters who come to fight.

GBP was genius is screwing with TMT. :deal

How long have you been working with Mayweather Promotions' PR team? Is the salary good?

Anyway, the poll shows what a troll you are. No one wants to watch Floyd's fake middleweight "championship" fight because we all know that the real middleweight champ is Gennady Golovkin, and neither Floyd nor Cotto is willing to get anywhere near the man.

Kirkland vs Canelo is a guaranteed action-packed fight with a KO.

Why watch Mayweather Cotto II when Mayweather already defeated Cotto @ 154 via UD?

Recycled Fight that doesn't need a rematch. Mayweather didn't want any part of the ''Middleweight Title'' when Martinez was the Champ.

Mayweather knows when to fight these ''Champions'', Fighting Pacquiao's ''Left over'' Cotto.

Mayweather should have kept quiet with the whole ''catchweight'', ''has been'' or ''left overs'' when it came to Pacquiao and Mayweather does the same.

And make no mistake: Floyd vs Cotto 2 will be at 155lbs, making it a totally redundant repeat of the first fight.
