I think I would be an exceptional fight.true Duran was a legend at lightweight but after the Leonard win that was avenged he never went on to be number one in any other division really and had a reign wer as pac has gone thru division after division beating hall of gamer while stepping up and dominating, pac in years to come will be top 10 atg, only nostalgia prevents it now
No he won't. I like Pac but fighting the Algieris and Rios' of the world doesn't get you into the top 10.
You gotta be kidding me. On a head to head basis Duran would beat Pac because he has all the skills of Pac with better defense and a far better chin and a higher degree of ferocity and infighting skills. Career wise it's close but Pac certainly wouldn't be fighting the Hagler's, SRL's, Hearn's and Barkley's of the world. Duran had well over a 100 fights under his belt, can't say the same about Pac.
Another ignorant poster When you got a 100 fights, can not train your ass of and be motivated for every fight. Normal to get a couple losses here and there. How many losses did SRR had?
Benitez is a pretty good fighter. No shame in losing to him or Hagler, or Hearns or SRL. Mayweather would loose to them too, and he wouldn't have beat SRL and Hagler would have knocked him the **** out.
everybody could see Roberto was not in top shape for this guy. We are talking about prime Duran, a stylistic nightmare for little Floyd. That is the one from Leonard I. This ain't Castillo or Cotto. Even the judges could not help Floyd in this one.
I believe Duran was 74-2 going into that fight, and it took place at 154. Duran's best weights were at 147 and 135. 74-2 is a far cry from the 47-0 Floyd's at.
Exactly, these idiots do not know what they are talking about. Plus, littled Floyd never faced anybody like Benitez.
