He is the real deal. But that doesn't mean he is going to blast through top level fighters like he has done to the lower level guys and jorneymen.

 

I really think some people have a man crush on this "Canelo". There's really no other explanation behind all the hype. I've seen posts suggesting this dude is p4p #1. I'd go as far to say it has something to do with his unorthodox for a Mexican, caucasian looks some desperately and secretly envy.

 

Canelo would get stiffened in there with GGG. The kid has nothing
outside 3-4 feet. triples would find canelo early with the jab and
then shore up inside with the timing advantage. From that point
it's a man vs a boy up close, and it's 2 rounds before freckles
get's good boy'd.
