Who do you rate higher: Roy Jones or Mayweather?

Jones 1993-2004 was more consistently brilliant than Mayweather has been in his career.

Roy fought better opposition that he gets credit for. He dispatched a bunch of Ortiz type guy along the was but those guys didnt have the benefit of 24/7 and HBO hype, but if you look at the records of a lot of the guys Roy beat they had stronger resumes than a lot of Floyds oppnents.

jones is still boxing too but they are really just glorifedexhibition bouts and have been for several years now.

 

Jones is a ducker too but he's an entertaining boxer. I simply can't stand Floyd's defensive fights. Jones is a showman in a show business. Floyd's thing is his record and nothing else. People don't stop watching Jones even though he loses, noone will ever watch once Floyd loses, he will certainly retire thus.

Mayweather is definitely going down with a higher all time ranking. Jones may have been better h2h on his best night, and better than pretty much anyone for that matter.
