I think Floyds dominating win over Corrales is equivalent to mannys win over barrera.
Overall Manny's resume is way better than Floyds though. Outside of Canelo I just don't think Floyd has really challenged himself at all. At least Manny put himself at risk fighting huge guys like Clottey and Margirito. And he also risked it fighting an undefeated Bradley.

Khan has been looking very big at welterweight
Manny is the A side. If Floyd can hand pick gloves as the A side, then I'm not sure you can argue there is anything wrong with Manny trying to manipulate the weight limits.

Khan doesn't have to accept the fight if he doesn't want to. Manny or Floyd the reality is Khan is going have to make some SERIOUS concessions which will give the advantage to his opponent. that's boxing in 2015

I think this is a dumb thread. Pac loses, it doesn't prove anything. Floyd loses, he was a bum all along. smh

Whoever loses is automatically "proven not that good" to the simple minded losers, so don't worry there.

precisely. In a way the risk is just too great for him, especially if he can make $40+ million fighting the likes of Guerrero and Cotto. Why risk it? His entire legacy would be undermined and his public persona as c*cky "Money May" would be devastated going forward.

Corrales having issue with that fight
But give him his props for that remember corrales chase him to147 i think for the rematch.
I agreed to that if he fougt spadafora, freitas, johnston, cassamayor, tszyu, winky or vernon.
damn his resume will look heaven.

I would probably agree with you if he didn't pick and choose who he fights at a catchweight. And Bradley is smaller than Pac, fighting at 147.

I never said Floyd can pick the gloves and it's OK so you can't use that one with me. I know that's the reality of it but it's being abused. He'll fight Bradley at 147 because he's not that big anyway. But when it's a big puncher, they request a catchweight to negate some of that power. That's abusing the "A-side" mess.

his risking his entire legacy by fighting pac just imagine the morning after if he loses to pac I think Floyd strikes me as the kind of guy who would take his own life because of it seriously though this is just boxing and the pressure on Floyd for him to win this fight is crazy I remember broner being depressed if Floyd gets beat by pac this is on a different level

Floyd probably would contemplate suicide. That '0' means the world to him.

Yeah? Well I think those extra "0's" on his bank statement mean more to him. So he'll get over it.

Why doesn't he fight Manny then? It is after all the biggest pay day for him...

Floyd being undefeated, in his mind, convinces him that he's the best ever. He preaches it!

Close... But not so sure about that. Either way I think they are going to fight. How is he gonna have to deal with the next 40 years of everywhere he goes... How come you didn't fight pac, whether it's the correct or incorrect perception.

I expect pac to lose a ud, but if he loss not a big deal to him or his fans. Floyd loses... He's gonna have some issues with his own psyche.

I do think they will fight. Maybe not may 2, hope it is though, but this year hopefully in September. Either way we will find out soon.
