"Quigg has a bigger profile as he is on sky" - Hearn.

Is hearn really wrong here Though?

Yes ITV is terrestrial so you can reach more homes but can you honestly say that ITV would give Frampton the marketing and advertising like Sky would?

What kind of preview shows will ITV give the Fight? Also don't forget about Sky Sports news and the exposure they give fighters.

Frampton would be a huge star in the UK if he was still with sky. Not sure how anyone can deny this.

Oh and let's just look at a previous example. Remember when Carl froch fought on ITV. Yeah he was a big name in Nottingham but nobody else cared.

Froch fighting on Sky Sports done wonders for his career. Maximum exposure all over the place.

To be fair although Carl is a excellent fighter we will only find out how good he is when he fights serious challengers, terrestrial TV will be great for his profile and is the biggest platform out there, so as long as he keeps winning hopefully terrestrial TV will keep showing him

How many people have got sky sports compared to those without it? SS is dear as, mate!

With the right marketing, Carl will eclipse a years worth of Eddie's numbers with just one show.

Look at what Barry was doing. Carl will blow up with ITV.

He battered Martinez twice. Quigg is the person we need to be asking to step up instead of fighting lady boys and Ebola victims.

with respect Martinez isn't top drawer, rendall Monroe schooled him a few years back as well, Quigg would stop Martinez as well

Kiko is still a better win that anyone on Quiggs resume.

Quiggs resume makes Cleverlys look like Ali's in the 70's!

He's beat nobody though. He's the joke of the division.

The head of ITV Sport didn't seem too sure of himself in the press conference- it's clearly a one shot deal.

This increases the chance of the Haymon cards being on ITV I'd imagine.

People fail to understand terrestrial TV. This isn't the SMW days with Benn, Eubank and the like.

Fury got over 3m viewers for one of his fights yet couldn't sell out a 3k arena. Same with DeGale.

Viewership figures aren't the be all and end all.
