78.5 inch slow jab at 6'3 is not going to connect as much as necessary against Vitali's style at 6'7

And yes, i do believe Old George punched harder than young George because weight translate to power and he weighted a lot more in his comeback.

Measure your punching power with a punching machine, then go to the gym, gain 15-20 lbs, go back to the punching machine and i can guarantee you will punch harder the second time!

 

that may be, but I measured my punching power at 40 compared to 19, and had the good sense to realise I was shot2****.

First round was somewhat close but edge to Vitali as being the busier fighter. Neither were hurt.

Second round big for Vitali he rocked lewis and clearly had him hurt.

Third round big for Lewis, he based Vital up with his jab and he landed a glancing punch that cut Vitali.

4-5th rounds were pretty close with Vital winning by most accounts.

6th round huge for Lewis. He landed a huge upper cut and with about 30 seconds left he landed an overhand right which really rocked Vitali and forced him to grab onto Lewis for the remainder of the round. With about 3 seconds left Lewis landed another upper cut.

After the 6th round the fight is stopped to the accumulation of damage sustained by Vitali. There wasn't only one cut but three cuts that Vitali suffered.

Lewis won by TKO.

At aged 37 Lewis could have either rematched Vitali or retired. He chose to retire. But he won the fight between them fairly within the rules of boxing.

End of story.

As to who was destroying who, all you need to do is look at the fighters faces to see how was being destroyed. That's pretty obvious even to a school aged child who sustained more damage.

 

George Foreman against Vitali Klitschko is a tough match up to predict. George has huge power while Vitalis is average. But Vitali can take a punsch real well, and his speed and technique are better. It can also be said that Vitali is not a very well proven boxer. His best wins are Samuel Peter and Corrie Sanders, and neither of them are all that. The most generous that can be said about his resume, is that he gave an aging Lennox Lewis a good run for his money.

Regardless, I actually have to give this one to Vitali. I don't think Foreman would be able to corner Vitali and finish him off. Vitali is too tough and knows how to use the ring. In his prime he also had good defence. So Vitali should be able to outwork and outpoint him.

If you think Lennox Lewis destroyed Vitali Klitschko you are an idiot. Lewis got lucky he opened a cut above Vitali's eye. Otherwise he was heading for a late round knockout or unanimous decision loss.
