A mega pockets investor (like the one puported to be from Dubai) can pay Arum to step aside and outright buy the event.

I'm still hopeful. The main reason I still give it a chance of happening is because of the massive amount of backlash Floyd will receive if he turns it down.

There will no doubt be a huge boycott of his next and future fights if he doesn't take the fight this time. Now, he may not care since he is guaranteed $30M each for his next 2 fights regardless of ratings or opponents, but, he still has an ego.

CBS is supposedly taking a bath on his contract. That is why Moonves is working so hard to get the fight done so they can make some money off of it. They have to be putting pressure on him as well.

If he refuses the fight, I bet we don't even hear that he turned it down. He will just sit on his hands until Arum and Pac pull out of negotiations once they get tired of waiting around. Then he will blame it on them.

The most objective observer will let the process playout and make a judgement based off of that. From reports from people other than Bob Arum the real hang up is HBO/SHO not being able to figure out the how to go about making the fight.

Until they can actually agree to a joint promotion nothing else matters. I mean the deadline is some bs, honestly if HBO/SHO havent worked things out by Saturday and Pac has a fight signed a day later like he did with Clottey that ain't a duck bro. Anyway see you in the whine thread lol

    Retribution.

    That's what.

All that **** talk and A side B side **** won't mean a damn thing when you got a silent ganster sittin across the ring from you ready to let his hands do the talkin.

Floyd might even try to run out the ring.

Floyd " I give the fans the fight they want to see. " We'll see. I don't think Floyd wants it. Pac is a difficult fight. He couldn't even beat maidana convincedly

You honestly think Floyd don't want to fight Pacquiao? Are you serious, Floyd don't like or appreciate dealing with Bob Arum, that has been constant and consistent throughout the years. The only way you can assert a Floyd scared of Manny argument is if Pac didn't resign with Top Rank and Floyd refused to negotiate with him. When Cotto didn't resign with Arum Floyd made the fight immediately and you guys claimed he was scared of Cotto for years!

Also Floyd came out of retirement, schooled Marquez and went directly after Manny with Pac's team claiming needle phobia, cuts that won't heal, and stadiums that got to be built! Don't ever accuse Floyd of being scared of Pac when it's Manny side that has walked away from negotiations twice already and threatening to do it a third time! They are the ones running, if you know what a "fact" is then this wouldn't be hard to understand or comprehend.

You do know that the supposed hold up is because of showtime and HBO right? and that the problem is that HBO doesnt want to agree to the winner getting production rights because they know pac is the underdog.
