    I was always surprised he was such a hyped fighter, he didn't have many quality wins and he just stood in front of everyone taking a beating. Not much too that.

    Even if the concrete had never been found that guy still wouldn't be HOF worthy. Not even remotely close. WTF are guys smoking?

    Margarito beat Cotto fair & square in the 1st fight.
    Their rematch was FIXED, so it don't count.

    Mosley cheated with EPO Hormones/Steroids, so its a meaningless fight.

    Margarito KO'd Sergio Martinez.

    He's made good accomplishments, and never cheated.

    I don't think any fighter who has been punished for cheating is HOF material. Margarito was a great boxer but he tainted his career. If he had the guts to accept what he did and apologized for it before the public, it could be accepted by fans, but he chose to go full denial and tried to insult people's intelligence. I don't consider him HOF no matter where they erect his statue or hand print on whatever boulevard. He's a cheat. That's what he is.

    Same goes for Holyfield for me as well.

    Margarito never cheated.

    Margarito tried to use loaded gloves against the steroid-cheating Mosley, because Margarito was trying to "level out the playing field".

    Holyfield is a definite cheater, just like Shane "EPO-Man" Mosley is another cheater.

    Thinking your opponent will cheat is no excuse to cheating and it doesn't make you less of a cheater. Margarito was a cheater. Period.

    Its called "leveling out the playing field".

    Even, the then commissioner allowed Margarito to loade his gloves, because they all knew Mosley was "juiced-up" with EPO Hormones, Steroids and other PEDs.

    By the way Nigel Benn should never be inducted into HOF either. He should be put on trial and locked up for the McClellan fight.

    Mosely, Holyfield, Jones jr etc are all PROVEN EPO Steroid abusers & should be never allowed in the HOF Margarito was ACCUSED of trying to load his gloves nothing was proven because he was INNOCENT!!!
