I disagree. If we compare apples to apples, the Pacquaio who fought Oscar, would have been a much more difficult fight then what marquez brought to the table against Floyd. We have to always keep in mind that styles makes fights, and when you have two known counter punchers in Floyd and Jmm in the ring it will be a slow fight where the size will be a factor.

Pacquaio takes more risks, and thats why he's been so effective at welterweight so long...that speed doe!:bbb

I honestly thought you were a level headed poster STB but it seems you are like the rest of the trolls.

I am still trying to understand what you are trying to argue about.

But you just said floyd was at least 1 weight class bigger then Manny? Most people believe Manny is a natural 140 lber, are you insinuating floyd is a natural jmw? I think floyd could probably get down to 140 too, if he'd cut out the big mac diet!:yep

Can you answer either of my questions?

Do you know what "walking around weight" actually means?

Because you seem to think that a persons fighting weight and walking aroiund weight are the same thing.

I still can not get around the fact you said Pac's walking around weight was 160 that was a troll comment I hope.

Pac walks around very light from what I heard he does not eat his usual 6 meals a day when his not fighting so naturally he loses weight when pac is in camp he eats 6-7 meals a day that is a facter also.

You are just trolling here STB I seriously expected more from you.

But he can probably make 140, thats my point. Pac has came in at the 147 lb weight limit a few times so that's indication to me at least that he has grown into the weight class rather nicely. I mean if he really was a natural jr ww why didn't he move down to fight Algieri? He fought at a cw of 143, why not 140?

It was an experiment to see if he could get down that low effectively, but how would the extra 3 pounds effect his body if he had to cut it to make 140 on the dot?

Roy jones has also came into the heavyweight division which shows he is a natural heavyweight?

It is well documented Pac has to eat 6-7 means to make the welterweight limit Floyd has to increase his food intake if he is only going up to 154 that's when he also eats more food watch the cotto and canelo fights Floyd eats tons food to make the make weight same way pac has been doing to make 147.

No,no,no that's a terrible comparison to make your point. You said it yourself "Floyd is at least 1 weight class bigger then Manny", so why try to compare it to jones/ruiz when they eere at least seperated by at least 3 heavier weight classes? Shane skipped 2 weight classes to beat oscar, but i guess mosely wasn't a natural ww either right?

Yeah and floyd eats a ton of food to make 150, 3 lbs above 147.floyds average in the weigh in is 146-47, Pacquaios is 145-47 on a good day.. they're around the same size. Floyd's just taller by an inch and a halfand probably five inches in reach. Thats not towering imo.

My point is, floyd/manny are seperated by one weight class. Jones was the lhw champion who moved up to face john ruiz for historical value. Pac continues to fight at 147 while jones had 1 fight at the hw division. So That's a terrible comparison.

Shane was listed at 5'9, oscar at 5'10, so assuming i go by your logic shane wasn't a natural 147 lber either even though he fought there pretty much the remainder of his career, the same thing manny has done for the past 5.5 years. Make sense?

I mean manny and floyd wouldnt fight in the weight class if they didnt
Think they could compete against bigger guys at the elite level.

My whole point was that the size difference between pac and may is not huge but there is a natural difference in weight between the two.
