    rewatching this fight for the first time in many years....follow my rbr ****ysis.


    i'm in round 6....fight is even. leonard wins round one. duran wins rounds 2, 3 and 4. leonard came back in round 5 and 6.

    3-3 so far.

    leonard wins round six....hurting duran to the body. great fight...both dishing out a lotta punishment.

    duran tapped that ass lenord silly boxing didnt do **** he pounded him hard

    only reason why lennord won th rematch was because duran was out of shape and blown up in weight and never expected the rematch

    leonard wins round 7....landing hard combos to the body....pot shotting duran to the head. duran mauling, forcing ray aginst the ropes, but it's leonard landing the clean, eye-catching punches.

    leonard ahead after 7....3 rounds to 4

    duran out hustled that loud mouth that left hand duran landed in the second round put put lenny on ***** street

    round 8 was very close....both men landed some hard shots....i give it to duran because he ended the round stronger....4 rounds to 4. even fight after 8.

    Duran accomplished more as a lightweight had a much better longevity. Duran lasted far longer as a competitive fighter than any of the other three. He defeated Ivan Barkley to win the middleweight title at almost 40 years of age, and then hung around to take on Vinny Pazienza and Hector Camacho. In 1996, a 45 year old Duran battered Hector Camacho (11 years younger) but was robbed in the decision.:hi:

    terrific exchange at the end of round 9....duran looked to be hurt then came right back with a combo himself. other than that it was a slow round with duran putting the pressure and ray looking a little tired. 5-4 for duran.
