I'm a big Pac fan and I really hope he wins but my wallet says Floyd. At this stage in the game, I think Floyd wins on points but contrary to what die hard Floyd fans think, I highly doubt it will be an easy win. Floyd will have to work hard for it. I see him getting hit with a few good shots and his chin will be tested but in the end I see him landing more clean counter punches to get the decision.

it's a fight that very difficult to visualize or predict IMO. When floyd fought Maidana for instance i instantly thought 'Maidana has no chance, he will look to rough Floyd up but he's too slow'

Floyd's speed advantage is a huge asset for him but with Pacquiao he doesn't have it. This means floyd will be much more prone to get hit when they exchange blows; much harder to duck speed. Floyd will be more accurate because he will measure his punches more but he will throw less. I actually see this as very very close unless Floyd can KO Pac, which would be very surprising.

To me floyd is similar to Bradley but smarter and a bit faster... he's not like JMM.

Good post. Pacquiao has the stylistic advantage when people actually look at this fight in depth.

Yup, if Pacquiao does't knock Floyd down, I see the winner being picked by what the judges prefer, more accurate and less aggressive or more aggressive and less accurate.

I'm a fan of floyd and I completely agree, people seem to be missing out that manny is also very difficult to beat on points. How often is he losing a fight half way through etc...? He isn't easy to beat but I see manny now being a little more cautious and Think that will play into mayweathers hands. The manny in 09-11 would of been very difficult to deal with.

The great thing about this fight is there will always be arguments for both fighters and tbh both sides have good points and we can theory craft all we want but it will never be answered unless they meet in the ring. Floyd is a great defensive fighter but how does he handle a fast, strong, awkward south paw? If Floyd fights like he did with Maidana 1, I think Manny wins. Manny is extremely aggressive, he has a hard time against counter punches like JMM but Floyd is on another level than Marquez. And tbf, Marquez has had 3 fights with Manny already so he knows what to expect, Floyd on the other hand hasn't face someone like Manny. If Pac is reckless and gets to aggressive, Floyd will just counter punch him all night, but lets be real, i don't think Floyd is knocking out Manny.

This fight can honestly go either way i think it all comes down to how they prepare. If people expect this to be one sided then why even bother watching? People know it will be very competitive and it will be awesome to see 2 top tier fighters of the same generation go at it.

He said he believes there's an 80% chance it happens, Mayweather confronts him, now he believes it's 97% :deal
