I am the single most cynical person on the planet that Manny-Floyd will happen but I'm starting to crack after this latest twist.

 

It was all publicity. I expect them to announce the fight this sunday during the Superbowl :deal

 

These past posts are going to make me root for Mayweather if they do fight.

 

Good news

 

None of the main 3 players in Floyd, Manny, and Arum ever really cared to make the fight. Maybe Floyd did want it in late 09', maybe not, but that's long past.

After that, Floyd made it pretty obvious he didn't want the fight, Arum's lies made it pretty clear too, and Manny just gives a "me fight who my promoter says" response with a dumb lost look on his face, and people just shrug.

It's no coincidence that once their other fights started doing disappointing numbers, as many fans are fed up with their BS, that the fight is more likely to happen now than anytime since the 1st negotiations.

 

And may the boxing Gods grant us this fight :happy

 

I'm a be completely truthful with you, seriously, and I mean this:

I like Floyd, he's on my last straw though. I like Pacquiao too, but his fans (you guys, not all of them) are the most childish and idiotic bunch of fans I've ever seen. I'm excited for the fight and the only reason I'm saying this **** is because you guys are saying a bunch of dumb **** so I'm bringing cosmic balance. I have no emotional attachment to Floyd like you guys do Pac, I actually laugh when people make fun of Floyd. Like that fake contract with the duck drawn in, ****ing funny.

I do not personally believe Pac was scared or at a loss for words. What I saw when I watched the video was two men conversating like MEN should. I'm not going to draw some garbage ass conclusions like you keep saying Koncz told Floyd where to look atsch.

I blame both men (and Arum) for the fight not happening, moreso Floyd than anyone else. Because Pac just wants a fair shake but Floyd's ego won't allow it, not fear, his ego. I don't understand how that makes me a Floyd fanatic...:huh

I like Floyd better as a boxer, I do not like him personally because he's arrogant and an *******. Is it a marketing tool? Maybe. I like Pac as a boxer and I like his personality too. No hate there at all.

I just want to see who's better, no excuses. :deal

 

Even Koncz had good things to say and gave Floyd credit. Constable, take note. This is what real men do. :deal

 

I pick which boxers I like based off of skillset and style too, not their personality. It's not a pageant, it's a boxing match.

 

But not to Mayweather...
